Seven Seas Entertainment is pleased to announce the license acquisition of the manga My Pancreas Broke, But My Life Got Better by Nagata Kabi, the newest diary manga from the Harvey Award-winning creator of My Wandering Warrior Existence. Seven Seas will also rerelease the author’s first manga in the series, My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness, in a special edition hardcover with a brand-new cover and bonus chapter.

In this new autobiographical manga following My Wandering Warrior Existence, Nagata Kabi has quit drinking in an attempt to get healthier–or she’s trying to, anyway. Her former struggles with alcohol led to pancreatitis and a serious hospitalization, and now she has no choice but to give it up. In 2023, Seven Seas will rerelease that intensely personal and insightful work in a hardcover special edition that features new cover art and an all-new bonus chapter by the author.
